This company hunts for the enemy within

When Idan Tendler and Yona Hollander first started talking about launching a cyber security company in 2012, they found a surprising new trend emerging in enterprise companies: the desire to use cyber security technology to find malicious or compromised users within their own ranks.

With this information, Tendler and Hollander, now CEO and COO respectively, founded Fortscale, a user behavior analytics company that provides insights to security teams by profiling employee behavior, understanding what is abnormal and pinpointing malicious activity.

“That was the first time I heard quite so strongly that users are the main entity in the security arena,” Tendler said. “And today, two and a half years later, everybody’s talking about it.”
